Tater Tot Casserole

Tater Tot Casserole


2 lbs ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp garlic
1 (12-16 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables, cooked
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
1 can cream of mushroom soup (see GF substitution under cream soup substitution post)
1 package tater tots (Ore Ida is currently gluten free)

Brown ground beef and cook onion in large skillet.  Add spices.  

In a 9X13 baking dish, layer ground beef and onion mixture.  Sprinkle with the grated cheese.  Next, spoon on the cooked vegetables.  Spread soup over the vegetables.  Put the tater tots on top.  Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-45 minutes, or until tater tots are done.
