package Betty Crocker GF Chocolate cake mix

cup oil
(or butter flavored shortening)

Step 1:Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2:Add oil and eggs and butter to cake mix and blend together in mixing bowl until well creamed. Roll dough into balls (a little larger than a quarter).

Roll in powdered sugar.
Step 3:Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 8
minutes. Remove from oven and let cool on sheet (until warm). Then remove cookies from pans and cool on cooling rack.
Step 4:To assemble the cookies, frost bottom side of one cookie. Place another cookie on top. It will look like a cookie sandwich or an oreo cookie. Continue until all cookies are sandwiched with frosting.
***I used Duncan Hines already made GF vanilla frosting when I am in a hurry. Otherwise I use the vanilla frosting recipe on this blog.
