Salisbury Steak

Salisbury Steak


2 cans cream of mushroom soup (see post for gluten free cream of mushroom soup substitute)
1 1/2-2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup gluten free cracker crumbs
1 egg
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger seasoning
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder

Combine well 1 can of soup, ground beef, cracker crumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and hamburger spice.  Shape the mixture into patties.

In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, brown both sides of patties.

In a separate bowl, combine remaining 1 can of soup, ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard powder.  Pour over the meat in the skillet.  Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
