Overnight Crockpot Oatmeal


Overnight Crockpot Oatmeal
Gluten free, egg free, dairy free
Ingredients
   1 ½ cup steel cut oats
   ¼ cup raisins (if desired)
   ½ cup pecans
   3 cups water
   1/2 cup coconut milk 
   1 cup vanilla almond milk
   ½ cup brown sugar
   ¼ cup honey
   ½ cup applesauce
   pinch of salt

Directions
In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients and set to low heat. Cover and let cook for 8 hrs. I start this around 11:00 pm and it is done when I get up at 7:00 am. 
Stir and remove to serving bowls. This method works best if started before you go to bed. This way your oatmeal will be finished by morning.
