Funfetti Cake
My daughter wanted a funfetti cake for her birthday. I was scared since I had never attempted a white cake and all of the box mixes that I have used so far were for either yellow or chocolate cake. I jumped on the internet to do some research and I found the perfect solution.

This website has the perfect cake. Well, actually, the recipe has instructions for making 24 cupcakes. I made it just the way the recipe is written. EXCEPT, I poured the batter into two 8X8" round cake pans. I can't remember for sure how long I had to bake it for, but it was about 40 minutes. (I just looked on a cake mix I had and set the time for what an 8X8 cake would be cooked for.) This cake turned out so good!!
I then took frosting and added sprinkles (the funfetti). I frosted the cake with the sprinkle frosting and it turned out perfect. It was moist and delicious and just plain FUN. I didn't feel like I needed to do a lot to decorate it since there was so much color to it already. I just put on some fun candles and voila!

After checking out the website you sent us to, I'm probably going to end up buying her book. I'm really impressed with how easy her stuff seams!
By the way, handsome model in your picture! ;)
Let me know what you think of the book.
