Favorite inexpensive GF Flour Substitution

My favorite flour substitution for baked goods

You can double, triple or quadruple this flour substitution so that you have it handy whenever you are cooking.  Since it has potato starch and the other flour all in it your would substitute all flour with this flour.  I created this flour mix because I wanted whole grain nutrition but a good flavor.  I am not a fan of a lot of GF flours.  This flour blend has a clean flavor that goes good with any baked goods.  I grind my Rice grains myself with my wheat grinder (that doesn't grind wheat) and my oatmeal in my blender so that it makes GF cooking less expensive.

Example if the recipe calls for 1 cup brown rice, 1 cup oatmeal and 1 cup potato.  You would just add 3 cups of this flour substitute.

Flour Substitute:

1 1/2 cups Brown Rice Flour
1 1/2 cups Sweet Rice flour (I have also used black rice flour but those are my favorite)
3 cups Potato Starch
2 1/2 tapioca flour
1/2 cup oatmeal flour
1/2 cup corn starch

(Optional) 1 Tablespoon Xanthan Gum

Most GF recipes add this to the recipe already.  It is optional if you would like to already add it to the flour mix or add the required amount when cooking.  I add my Xanthan Gum when cooking because a lot of recipes vary with what amount they require.
