Kat’s GF Whole Grain Bread
Double loaf
recipe:
Step 1-Mix all the dry ingredients and set aside:
2 ¼ cups Oatmeal flour
2 cups Potato Starch(not flour)
1 cup Brown Rice Flour (can use flour blend if needed)
½ cup Tapioca Flour
¼ cup Cornstarch
4 tsp Xanthum Gum
2 tsp Sea Salt
1 TBSPN ground flax
Step 2-Heat water and then add the honey and yeast. Stir well and set aside to let yeast
activate.
2 ½ cups warm water (110 to 115 degrees)
3 TBSPNS Honey
3 PKGS Yeast (6 tsp)
Step 3- In Bosch or large mixer add all the ingredients
below. Mix together well.
¼ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
¼ cup applesauce (plain nothing added)
½ Tsp Apple Cider Vinger
½ Tsp Lemon Juice
3 eggs
Step 4-Add the yeast mixer to the wet mixture already in
Bosch. Mix well. Add half the flour, mix and then add the
other half the flour. Turn on Bosch and
let mix for about 5 minutes. Let stand
for 1 minute. Test the consistency of
the bread. It should be a really
thick brownie texture. If to thin then
use the extra flour listed below and slowly add a little flour about ¼ to ½ cup
at a time. Mix after each scoop of flour
is added.
1/2 cup extra oatmeal flour and 1/2 cup extra brown rice
flour for thickening dough at the end, only if needed
Step 5-Spray 2 bread pans with extra virgin olive
oil. Scoop the bread dough into each pan
until the dough is evenly distributed between each pan. Use spatula and level out each loaf smoothing
the top. Cove and let rise until double in size, about 30 minutes.
Step 6-Cook at 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes.
